Welcome To

Bakewell

Utility District

Bakewell Utility District will be open on December 24th, 2025. The office we be closed for the Christmas holiday, December 25th & 26th, 2025. We will reopen on December 29th.

USPS has failed to deliver our bills timely this month. They were delivered to the post office on December 1st and were held at that facility until yesterday, the 9th. They are now in transit to the Chattanooga facility to be scanned and delivered. We greatly apologize, however, this was of no fault of the District. The post office has admitted they did not process them as they should have. The bill is due on Monday, the 15th, so please call the office at (423) 332-9733 and we can reprint your bill or give you the balance owed on your bill.

Lee Pike Line Replacement

We are notifying customers of an upcoming water line replacement project on Lee Pike beginning at the Old Dayton Pike intersection and continuing to Possum Creek Bridge. Construction is not scheduled to begin until Mid-2026. Please see the flyer here with frequently asked questions. Surveyors will be in this area in the upcoming weeks for the beginning stages of this project. As always, you may call the office at (423) 332-9733 with any questions. Thank you.

Customer Web Portal

We are asking all customers to sign up and create their own personal account on our web portal. We communicate with customers through our website and web portal. You can choose options of texts and emails. You do not have to use the portal for payments to take advantage of valuable information. The district can notify you of water leaks, outages, and leaks on your side of the meter. We will also be calling to request your email address to add to our billing system. Again you do NOT have to pay your bill online if you have a web portal account and it does not cost anything to create one. Please call the office with any questions or need any assistance in signing up. If you have not already created your personal profile, you are missing out on valuable information regarding the district and your personal account.
